Athletic Update:
Our region has moved to Phase 4 which means all volleyball games can be played. Tryouts have concluded and we will begin playing games next week. The short season will be played through Feb 25th.
With the move to Phase 4, this allows basketball games to be played as well. We have scheduled 5-8 grade basketball tryouts for March 1st and 2nd. A sign up link was sent out today to all student's email. They must sign up using that link. The basketball season will be played through April 15th.
As usual, all student athletes need a current physical and concussion form on file with the school nurse. A covid waiver form must be brought to the first day of tryouts.
More information will be provided at a later date as it becomes available. If you have any question please contact Alex Seel.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is picture retake day! If your child is getting a retake, please return the original picture packet to give to the photographer.

Sports Update 1/27/2021
The IDPH and Governor moved our region into Tier 2 mitigations in the last couple days. This means we will begin Volleyball Tryouts on Monday Feb 1st. While we are in Tier 2, we are only allowed to have practices. We are hopeful that in the next week we will be brought down to Tier 1 which means we will be allowed to play volleyball games.
We also have tentatively scheduled basketball season to begin March 1st if all goes well.
Bowling is still TBD. We are hopeful to begin this March as well.
