Middle school Update 3/26/2020
The district has put together a timeline of events regarding the renovation of the Wolf Branch Middle School from the beginning of the mine subsidence to the present. We will continue to update you any time we have new information to share and we will continue to update the timeline on our school website.

We want to thank our students, teachers, staff and everyone in the community for your patience and support as we work with the state and other entities to bring back the Middle School as quickly as possible. The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority.
Update: Construction of the Middle School has begun. However, in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, and with the emphasis on social distancing, the School Board unanimously agreed that it was inappropriate at this time to celebrate the start of construction with any type of fanfare or ceremony. Therefore, only small updates and photos will be posted on the district’s website and Facebook pages until the pandemic ends. Please note, the Middle School ball diamonds and track will continue to be open to the public. However, less parking is now available due to the construction.
